It is with great joy that we celebrate the election of Rev. Patricia Schmermund as the new Bishop of the Synod of Alberta and the Territories.

Bishop-Elect Trish is currently the pastor of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Edmonton, AB. We wish her God’s abundant blessing on this new journey!

We give thanks to God for Bishop Larry Kochendorfer as he completes his time as Bishop and transitions into other ministry roles.

Please, hold the Synod of Alberta and the Territories, Bishop Larry, and Bishop-Elect Trish in your prayers! To God be the glory!

Blessings,
Marla Berg
Office Administrator

Online Devotion from Pastor Greg

The reading this week gives us an example of how we as a church can do things that we have not done before. The key in all things is to trust in the Holy Spirit. God is always active in our world!
